The last time the Jaeger Clade and Searcher split up during an expedition was many years ago. His son brought home a strange plant as the fabled explorer moved on to finally explore what lies beyond the mountains. The people of Avalonia benefited financially from this, and their impoverished villages were transformed into prosperous cities with cutting-edge technology.
However, when it appears to be failing and the plants appear to be suffering from a strange disease, a team led by Callisto travels inside their world in an effort to learn more.
