Because suddenly you have the feeling of seeing a half-baked version of ” John Wick ” with Kate Beckinsale in the role of Keanu Reeves and Jai Courtney in the role of the dog. Since nobody likes to play the dog and Courtney is too big a name for the small role, it’s not surprising that there is still a twist in the end.
The film seems to be trying hard. You can tell that he would love to be so cool. It’s kind of like a toddler who tries to ape their supposedly cool big brother and then thinks it is the same. From another perspective, this is a reason to be ashamed of others. About the fact that the makers of the film had resources, stars and beautiful visual ideas, but didn’t make anything out of them that would trigger an emotional reaction.
